You know that intense physical craving that you experience when you start to quit smoking? Your body feels on edge and you want to go out and kick something. At Ukmedix News we believe that you must not try to ignore these cravings but do something proactive to get them to go away. One of the best ways of ridding yourself of these smoking cravings is to go and get some exercise.

Especially in the first few days of quitting you should make sure that you go and do something like go for a long walk or run or maybe visit the gym. If you are not the type who works out then do something different like going for a massage. Another thing that will take your mind off your smoking cravings is sitting in a hot sauna and sweating profusely. The sweating will also help to remove your body of toxins and chemicals that have been building up over the previous few years.
When you quit smoking you should drink a lot of water. As well as giving you something to do at regular intervals throughout the day it will also help to purify your body and get rid of the harmful nicotine and chemicals that are present. Make sure that when you go to bed at night you are exhausted so that you get a good night’s sleep.
Many people say that one of the first things that they noticed when they quit smoking was that they woke up feeling so much better than they used to. Try to focus on the positive implications of quitting smoking such as how you feel when you wake up rather than the negative cravings. The cravings will soon go away but feeling good and healthy will stay with you.
