Did you know that last Thursday the famous Muslim tradition of Ramadan started? And did you also know that as well as completely abstaining from all kinds of food and drink when the sun is up, Muslims are not allowed to smoke cigarettes during Ramadan month? Well at Ukmedix News we think this is a perfect opportunity for Muslim men and women to quit smoking. If you can manage to be smoke free throughout the day then there is no reason why you cannot continue throughout the evening when the sun is down.

Ramadan is a period where Muslims reflect on their lives and pray a great deal. The period of Ramadan is also a trying one and one in which they have to instil in themselves a great deal of self control and that is exactly what is needed if you wish to quit smoking. Many Catholics use their period of fasting and abstinence namely Lent before the holiday of Easter as a period to give something up and smoking is obviously an extremely good thing to quit at this time.
If you can put your mind to quitting smoking within a period of religious tradition you are far more likely to quit smoking than if you just decide to quit on your own. Quitting smoking is never easy and having an added objective and reason for quitting smoking can improve your chances of success.
At Ukmedix News we advise that if you are serious about quitting smoking that maybe you should try the prescription medication called Champix. Champix which is made by the drug company Pfizer has a very high success rate with users. It will not do all of the struggle for you but it will definitely improve your chances and has been known to help people who have been smoking heavily for many years.
