Adele Quits To Save Voice

probably the best thing that could have ever happened to Adele!

The singer Adele has finally taken the most obvious and sensible step to quit smoking!  Saying that she was doing it in order to keep her singing voice in good shape for the future she also admitted that she had suffered from laryngitis which meant that she was not able to speak for a whole week before she released her new album 21. Adele is lucky that she recovered from her laryngitis before she was due to sing at the album launch.

Adele said that her doctor had told her not only to quit smoking but also to focus on healthier eating and to lay off any foodstuffs which were bad for the vocal cords. She has to understand that not only is her voice something which she enjoys using but is also her livelihood and her whole life.  The idea that she would gamble with her future all because she wanted to inhale on a cigarette shows exactly how powerful cigarette addictions can be!

Adele was so relieved when her voice came back that she got very emotional and admitted to frequent bouts of tears. Nothing makes you appreciate something more than when it is taken away from you for a short time! At Ukmedix News we reckon that this laryngitis attack was probably the best thing that could have ever happened to Adele!

If you are trying to quit smoking try and imagine your whole life being taken away from you, go through the negative emotions and remember that this is exactly what cigarettes can do to you! If you get a serious lung illness you'll probably have to give up work, your social life and everything else you do. Cigarettes cause heart attacks and life is extremely restrictive after suffering something like this.

Visualising exactly how badly cigarettes could mess up your life is an extremely powerful tool in quitting smoking. You should do it every single day to motivate you stay off cigarettes. If you need extra help maybe smoking cessation medications could help you.

I love her voice! Sometimes we have to be scared to realise that we must do something about a situation, and she has done it! Good for you Adele!
